Ok, late again in updating my journal as usual.

I think first I should start with my wrist...

As I told before the surgery went well, and now that my wirst is fully recovered again I've started doing a lot of things again I previously couldn't without any pain, such as lifting weights or holding a pen or pencil for to long. That said, it took a while to get back to drawing since my wrist is a lot more mobile again but now that I'm used to it again i've started doodling a bit here and there when I had some time. Maybe I'll get productive enough to actually post something on DA again sometime. I've also picked up painting again, or at least the materials, haven't really had any inspiration yet...

Also did a bunch of work around the house, put up some air conditioning unit at my place and for my sister, and some new lights, repaved the driveway and built a car port for the second car, trimmed the hedge back in order and repaired the wire fence behind it that was damaged by some wildlife that got a bit to curious
Amongs those things, there was also the job of getting a new room ready for the baby

So here is the biggest update...

On june 6th I became a father again of not just another girl, but a boy as well. That's right, twins
While I knew we were having twins I didn't know about gender since I wanted to wait untill they were born to find out, unlike my wife who went and had the gender determined as soon as it was possible, lol. So It was a nice surprise to find out we had both a girl as well as a boy

Their names are Vanessa, and Steve (named after my twin brother) and both are doing well
Cloë was a bit upset about it all at first when we told her that we would have to take a bit more time to take care of her baby brothers or sisters, thankfully she got used to the idea and accepted it. Once they were born she got all excited about it, and now wants to help as often as possible, even offering to help change diapers
If this keeps up I think she's gonna be an awesome big sister

Unfortunately, I can't show any pictures since my wife is still paranoid about putting pictures online... And as much as I'd like to show pictures I have to respect her wishes and hope I can convince her some day =/

In other news, I've started to look out for another job since my current one is looking more and more shakey by the day, and I'd rather have something to fall back on as soon as possible in case I do lose my job, especially now that we've had twins which puts a bit more strain on the budget than we had originally planned on. We'll manage though since we had been thinking of having a third child after this one in a few years, though now that we've had twins we have been moved ahead of schedule so to speak...
So that means trying for another baby will have to be reconsiderd...In fact Arianne said I might have to be neutered if I keep this up

I think my sister is getting quite jealous of me though, she's asking about the children every time I see her and I've caught her daydreaming a few times we got together for some coffee or dinner. I also feel she has things on her mind but she doesn't seem to want to tell me what... I hope she tells me about what's bothering her soon, because I know she tends to stress herself out at times.

Well another birthday has come and gone, another year over and (hopefully) wiser....

In recent years I always seem to stop and think about my life once my birthday rolls along again and ask myself the following questions :

Am I really hapy.

What do I regret doing.

What do I regret not doing.

What goals am I going to set myself for the next year.

What do I still want to do in life.

Had another short birthday blues time for some reason (not sure where that keeps coming from)But my daughter cheered me up by drawing me a picture
My sister has also been a big support to me as always, simply by being there...
Another thing I did was visiting my twin's grave, it had been a few years and I feel I should do so more often because somehow when I'm there I feel there is still some kind of...pull, a bond if you will... I dunno it's an odd feeling and I can't really describe it.

1.I had a stillborn twin brother.

2.I have no (or almost no) toenail on my little toe on both feet.

3.When I was little I had a knack for climbing out of my crib, and one time jumped back into the bath with my fresh pj's and diaper after my mom had only just tucked me in.

4.I tried once to design an RPG style videogame, but the idea changed into writing a book instead based on the game I had in mind. But with new ideas popping up and having to restart from scratch several times I haven't made any significant progress.

5.I like hot and spicy foods.

6.I had an imaginary friend when I was little, a small winged cat. Her name was Mieke (pr: me-kuh) I think, she later became my sister's friend. Odd that I remember this at all after all these years.

7.I hate dentist chairs, they make me nervous for some reason.

8.Longest time I ever went without sleep was 71 hours and 30 minutes during exams? a little over three days...

Time to update this thing again...

Finally got my strength back after the whole infection buisness, unfortunately that means back to work again, although it makes a change of pace again. Staying at home is fun and all that but that wears off after a while, although i'm sure that in a few weeks of work i wish i could stay at home again

The brace finally came off my wrist too, and boy does it feel different...
Feels as if i had been running around with a 20 pound weight on my wrist that has been removed now and rusty hinges have been well oiled again...
I still have some loss of feeling at times but it's better than loosing pretty much all feeling like before, but the numbness should improve over time as i use my wrist more again they said. I haven't planned to draw anything yet, but i hope i can make some time to sit down and maybe do a couple of sketches and see how rusty i've gotten

Hmm not much else to report at this point i guess...
Although there may be one thing....
Arianne thinks she is pregnant again, although it's not confirmed yet. I'll update this journal when it's certain Cloë is going to get a baby brother or sister
